About Mariah Runions

Mariah is a mother to three darling daughters - fourth generation Fernie-ites! And two beautiful retrievers. She prides herself on her long lasting relationships with friends, colleagues, and clients having opened her first Fernie based business in 2005.

Mariah is a connection builder and loves to ensure the people around her always feel comfortable, included and valued. The phrases “No Problem”, “Consider it done”, and “My pleasure”, are often heard from her.

She started her real estate journey in 2017, selling her own home privately. After selling that home quickly and for a great price her husband started encouraging her to pursue real estate as a career, considering her like of people, marketing, and a good excel spreadsheet (overall appreciation for organized admin work). These reasons combined with Mariah’s love of all things Fernie have made real estate a great fit and even allow Mariah to dabble in coaching soccer a few months of the year and teaching dance classes throughout the Elk Valley.

Mariah has been a dance teacher since 2003, and opened her first dance studio in 2005, here in Fernie. Having crossed paths with hundreds, if not thousands of children over the years AND their “dance parents” she is well versed in customer satisfaction and problem solving. She is confident in her sales, negotiating, marketing and people skills. Mariah teaches in Sparwood once a week to ensure she fills her bucket AND keeps her schedule open for clients and their real estate needs.
